Maundy Thursday 2021

 I have neglected posting to this blog account ever since I created it back in January 2012. As this year's Lenten season comes to an end in the sacred mysteries, I thought it opportune to share things, particularly as they relate to my living as a committed and practising Roman Catholic in a world that often not only denies the Christ but also daily betrays the incarnation of the Father's love in him.

Yesterday evening I participated in the Maundy Thursday Mass commemorating Jesus washing his disciple's feet, the institution of the Eucharist, and ending with the transfer of the most Blessed Sacrament to the altar of repose in the historic church at Pukekaraka.

There I respond to the call in quiet contemplation.
